We specialise in publishing books and multimedia for use in mathematical education.
Badsey Publications was established by Richard Phillips in 2004.
Richard Phillips passed away in October 2015. He was a freelance educational writer, photographer and multimedia designer. Prior to founding Badsey Publications he worked for 20 years at the Shell Centre for Mathematical Education at the University of Nottingham, and before that at University College London and the Royal College of Art. He contributed to many educational publications including Eureka (ITMA), L - A Mathemagical Adventure (ATM), Pressure Mat Programs (Panthera), Coypu (Shell Centre) and the award-winning Population and Development Database CD-ROM (Population Concern).
His more recent works are noted for bringing mathematics to life through the use of eye-catching photography. These publications including the Problem Pictures resources and Numbers: Facts Figures and Fiction are still available and can be ordered through this site and from the AAMT in Australia.
